USA Bouquet Co. joins forces with Dutch Flower Group’s Retail Division

The USA Bouquet Co., headquartered in Miami, agreed to join forces with the Dutch Flower Group Retail Division, headquartered in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands, according to a news release.

USA Bouquet Co. is a manufacturer of domestically made bouquets, with six strategic locations in major ports of entry. It employs 400 staff and sources globally and domestically over 200 million stems of fresh cut flowers per year.

DFG Retail is a global supplier of flowers, bouquets and plants to retailers such as traditional supermarkets, DIY stores and garden centers in Europe. It supplies importing wholesale companies in over 60 countries, employs 2,500 staff and sources globally.

USA Bouquet Co. services supermarkets, mass retailers, drug and convenience stores, as well as multiple e-commerce retailers. With the support of DFG Retail, USA Bouquet Co. will strengthen its market position by relying on similar business practices.

Consolidated Fresh Solutions, the logistic service provider for USA Bouquet Co. and third parties, will also join DFG Retail, thus enabling DFG to optimize logistical services for its partners.

CFS has six temperature-controlled facilities located in Miami, Chicago, New Jersey, Atlanta, Dallas and Vista, CA.

The management team for USA Bouquet Co. will remain in place with Edgar Lozano as president; George Barquin as vice president; and Scott Hill as vice president of sales and marketing. Boudewijn Rip, director at DFG Retail, will be responsible for optimizing the operational synergies of both companies. Rip will be located in the USA Bouquet Co. corporate office in Miami during the integration.
