Ryan Beckman

Ryan Beckman was born and raised in New Jersey. After studying creative writing at Rutgers University, he attended SUNY Binghamton and earned his master’s degree in English. The following year, he and his fiancé, Amanda, journeyed to the province of Ontario to spend some time living in Toronto and cheering for the Maple Leafs. Ryan and Amanda, along with their cat and dog, now live back in New Jersey.
Ryan has a love of reading traditional fiction and nonfiction, but has acquired a taste for graphic novels. Mariner history and astrophysics are interests for no particular reason, and in his free time, Ryan loves brewing beer, working on his photography, writing, drumming and bicycling.
